Looking for a fatbike without all the fat? Lightweight construction and nimble OutFront geometry make the FAT CAAD so agile and quick you’ll want to ride it all year long.
Cannondale's Fatty-Fat fork is the one of the lightest chubby-specific objects ever to grace such a bike, and it delivers knife-sharp handling. Tubeless-ready Sun Ringle rims roll with confidence-swelling strength, and massive Kenda 26 x 4.8-inch tires gum to the trail with sticky traction and loads of flotation. Shimano and Sunrace make the spec on an 11-speed drivetrain with gear range to spare, and the Guide disc brakes are just what you need to bring the action to a swift, fluid stop. Cannondale supplies their lightweight handlebars, stem, and grips, along with a comfortable Fabric Scoop saddle to put you in tight command of this rotund rig.

I could not be happier with this bike. At this price point, it's a fantastic investment. The Qfactor allows this to feel like a regular mountain bike set up and unlike riding a horse like some fat bikes. Because of the Mule Fat rims, I set it up tubeless dropping weight and allowing for better traction. It handles better than I thought, and the components have worked flawlessly. I do wish they set it up 1x10 or 1x11 as I've rarely if ever used the granny gear. I highly recommend buying this bike. It's the same as the fat caad 1 minus the lefty fork and the 1x10 drivetrain. For the money, I would choose this over the fat caad 1.

This bike is just fun to ride. On dirt it seems nearly as fast as my Cannondale hardtail but with the extra grip of the big tires. Handling was just as responsive. I have mine set up tubeless and it is only 2lbs heavier than my 29er. Between the traction and the lowest gear climbing hills seemed easier. I really like the wide bars. Riding on snow has been a blast. I haven't ridden at the beach yet but I expect that to be awesome too. Great bike and I am very happy I bought it!
