TIRE CLEARANCE - The Headlands was designed with clearance for up to 700Cx45 or 650Bx50 tires to handle even the roughest "roads." The original inspiration for the Wolverine was “monster cross”, but it is seriously so much more. Its geometry is stable enough for off road touring, but sporty enough for all-around adventure. 2023 brings us the 4.1 A-Type update which adopts the flat mount disc standard on the frame and optional CrMo fork. The A-Type has more modern standards than the B-Type, such as 142mm rear thru-axle and a 44mm headtube that will fit 1-1/8 straight steerer or tapered steerer forks with the proper headset type. Steel Frame Construction The Nicasio uses a Series 2 or Series 1 butted 4130 CrMo frame with disc brakes, full fender and rack mounts, and two to three bottle bosses. Disc Brakes Disc brakes provide smooth, controlled stopping in all conditions with minimal maintenance. Tire Clearance The Nicasio frame and fork has clearance for up to 700c x 35mm or 650B x 47mm tires.
